As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and thank you for your continued partnership.

Since stepping into the role of Spendesk’s CEO in October, what has struck me most is the rapid evolution of the spend management space and the sophistication with which you, our customers, manage company spend. I’ve had great conversations directly with many of you across France, the UK, Germany, Spain, and beyond, and it’s clear that rapid innovation is a priority.

I’m thrilled to bring my experience to Spendesk, working alongside our founder Rodolphe Ardant, as we continue to support your evolving needs.

To wrap up the year, I’d like to reflect on where we’ve innovated to drive more value for our customers and how these achievements will guide what we deliver in 2025.

Key milestones of 2024

This year marked significant progress in streamlining financial operations and enhancing user experience across our platform. I’d like to highlight some of the key benefits you can leverage:

Save 5% on procurement costs annually

We acquired Okko and integrated procurement into our spend management platform, creating an end-to-end procure-to-pay platform that centralises contracts and suppliers, simplifies renewals, and reduces risks. With this solution, your teams can optimise procurement contracts and achieve 5% annual savings. Find out more.

Streamline multi-entity management

The new Multi-entity Hub home page brings a clear and concise view of company-wide spend in one space to our customers. With direct links to key outstanding actions, managing business entities and personal workload got a lot easier.

Connect your tech stack with new integrations

Connect your finance stack to our public API and 40+ integrations to automate your accounting, travel, and HR processes. Your teams can set up these connections in minutes. Get started.

Benefit from faster innovation with Spendesk Financial Services, Adyen & Visa

To unlock exciting capabilities next year, we built our payment institution and partnered with industry leaders Visa and Adyen! Expect even faster product updates, more flexible payments, and enhanced security in the year to come – more on this below.

Save on supplier costs

After learning that supplier management costs a company an average of £855 per supplier per year, we created a report to reveal how to remedy supplier management inefficiencies. Download the ebook here to find out more.

What's next in 2025

The future is one which we’ll build together. Our 2025 roadmap is based on market trends, technological advances, changing regulations, and, above all, your direct feedback. We’re committed to addressing your evolving needs and creating solutions that empower you to focus on what matters most – driving impact for your business. Next year you can expect more innovation, including:

  • Smart ways to pay: Pay simply with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and securely with flexible subscription card options for online payments.

  • Global payments in new currencies: Expanding your ability to pay vendors and manage transactions worldwide.

  • Compliant e-invoicing: As new e-invoicing legislation is implemented across Europe, Spendesk intends to be at the forefront, offering our customers a compliant solution.

  • Enriched procurement and accounts payable flows: Streamlining processes so you can spend less time on admin and more time driving impact.

  • More AI & automation: Remove repetitive tasks from your bookkeeping, get intelligent insights, and free up your time from low-value tasks.

  • Smoother multi-entity configuration: Saving you time in creating and maintaining your bespoke configurations across multiple entities.

Thank you for being part of our journey

Your feedback and partnership remain central to everything we do. As we look to the year ahead, our focus is to ensure that Spendesk helps you save time, reduce costs, and scale your operations with confidence.

I see 2025 as a year of ambition and action, and I’d like to share a conversation that I found inspirational. Earlier this year, Rodolphe and Pauline Déroulède, a Paris 2024 Paralympian, discussed how determination, adaptability, and perseverance drive success in both sport and business. I hope you find it as inspiring as I did.

Wishing you a safe and happy end to your 2024, and here’s to a successful 2025.
